About Ông Đề eco village
A small Mekong Delta world in An Binh ward, about 7 km from central Can Tho: coconut gardens, fish ponds, thatched houses and folk games for families and large groups.
A small, simple Mekong Delta world
Ông Đề village was built to give visitors rustic, down-to-earth yet fresh experiences. The village lies in An Binh ward, about 7 km from the centre of Can Tho, and has welcomed guests since 2017.
The grounds cover about 2.5 hectares, green and full of river life: thatched houses, fish ponds, boat songs and traditional Mekong Delta food. Guests come not only to look around but to play, make things with their own hands and eat together as if at home in the countryside.
What the village offers
Each area of the village reflects a familiar part of orchard life. The main activities:
- Folk games: monkey bridge, tug of war, sack race, blindfolded duck catching, bamboo bridge walking.
- Ditch draining and fishing: roll up your trousers, wade into the ditch, catch snakehead fish by hand and then enjoy your catch.
- A water play area with challenge bridges and pools for the whole family.
- Cô Tư’s bánh xèo pancakes cooked hot at the outdoor kitchen.
- Wooden riverside homestay for guests who want to stay the night.
What the village stands for
Ông Đề wants to keep Mekong Delta culture alive in an authentic way: the games, the food, and the slow, close-knit way of country life. The village keeps its gardens and ponds so nature stays intact for future generations, and creates jobs for local people so tourism grows together with the community.
People at the centre, local culture as the foundation, sustainability as the long-term direction: that is how the village welcomes every group.
Families or groups
Families can choose a day ticket or stay at the homestay. Schools, companies and organisations coming in large groups get a tailored programme combining folk games and team activities. Send your group size and preferred date for a group quote.
